Timber harvesting needs explaining. A forest owner wants to know what will happen in their forest, which machine suits their stand and, before anything else, what is left once the work is paid for. A page with a phone number answers none of that. The site had to answer those questions in plain language, for owners who do not work in forestry themselves.

We built the site around the questions an owner asks. Services and storm-damage clean-up come first. The machinery page introduces the two harvesters and the timber each one is meant for. The process page shows how a job runs: first contact, a free on-site inspection, an offer agreed before work starts, then felling and skidding to the forest road.

The cost calculator takes the estimated volume (or estimates it from the area), the assortment being sold and the terrain, and returns a rough estimate of what remains after costs. It says plainly that the figures are examples and that a binding offer follows the inspection on site. A glossary explains the trade terms, and a guide covers thinning, harvester or chainsaw, steep slopes, bark beetle and sustainable use.

Alongside the website, we run the office mailbox behind it through our e-office service, so enquiries from the site land in an inbox that someone looks after.

Nuxt with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, rendered on the server so every page arrives as finished HTML. Each language has its own URLs with hreflang alternates, so search engines send German, English and Czech readers to the right version.

A forest owner gets a first answer before picking up the phone: what the work involves, which machine fits, how a job runs and a rough idea of what remains. The calculator sets expectations; it does not replace the inspection and the offer. The site is live in three languages.
